U16 Program
The U16 program is designed for 14-15 year old athletes and is similar to the U14 programs, U16s compete in their own series ending with the CanAm Western championships in addition to the Provincial Championships Series. Training is primarily on weekends and holidays from early December til mid April with extended training opportunities on Thursdays and Fridays. U16 athletes have a few more racing and selection camp opportunities than U14 but racing is primarily during the weekends. Overall, U16 athletes are focused on racing and training as they prepare for FIS competition. Dryland is scheduled in the fall in both Vancouver and Whistler with some dryland camps throughout the summer.
