Whistler Mountain Ski Club

FIS Program

FIS Head Coach: Ryan Jazic

email: ryan@wmsc.info

WMSC’s FIS program has for long been one of the most successful teams in British Columbia with a proud tradition of helping athletes ages 15 and up achieve their ski racing goals. Each year WMSC FIS athletes are typically selected for BC Alpine special projects and qualify for the BC Ski Team. Yet it is the programs primary focus to work with all athletes in the program who wish to pursue the ski racing education and experience whether they go on to the BC Ski Team, National Team, University Racing or just great all mountain skiers.

AGES

This program is available for children ages 15 and older as of December 31st, 2011

LIFT PASS

Program fees do not include the cost of a list pass.
FIS and SX aged athletes may be eligible to purchase a CWSAA All Area Pass. Application for this pass program is distributed to registered FIS and SX athletes in late September or early October. Applying for this pass does not necessarily mean that an individual will qualify as there are a limited number of these types of passes available each year.

All youth aged athletes are eligible for a “Sea to Sky” Pass from Whistler Blackcomb. Application for this pass is directly through Whistler Blackcomb’s pass sales office and to be eligible, athletes must be registered in a WMSC competitive program at time of purchase. Please note that WMSC must confirm applicants status with WB and does so once a week starting Oct. 1 with an update of our athlete list to their pass sales department.
