6. Grants

Gaming revenues benefit people and communities province-wide through gaming grants and other disbursements by government. Your community organization may also apply to the Branch for a gaming licence to earn revenue for eligible purposes.

Hosting BC began as a partnership between the Province of British Columbia, Tourism British Columbia and 2010 Legacies Now leading up to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Now managed in partnership between the BC Games Society and the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Investment (Tourism BC), the program continues to build the province’s reputation as a premier event hosting destination.
