FIS Summer Fitness Camps

July 9 - September 9

Camp 1 July 9 – 13 8:00 – 3:00  ​

Weekly Sessions July 16 – July 27 Detailed schedule TBA​

Camp 2 July 30 – August 3 8:00 – 3:00 ​

Camp 3 September 8 – 9 8:00 – 3:00 ​

Option 1: Camps only $720​

Option 2: Camps + 2 weeks of coach led sessions  $840​

Each camp day will consist of 2 fitness sessions and 1 training education session. Athletes will also undergo a one on one planning meeting with coaches to personalize their training schedule and plan. Training education topics: Sports nutrition, training principles, recovery.​

All 3 camps are based on a proper training progression, therefore the FIS fitness program is designed around athletes attending all 3 camps and weekly sessions. ​

The month of July is the only uninterrupted fitness training block of the summer. By attending all 4 weeks of training, FIS athletes can make significant progress in their physical preparation for the remaining on-snow camps and the upcoming competitive season. ​

Camp 1 Phase 1: Hypertrophy 1, Aerobic (Max Oxygen), Stability, Mobility​

Weekly Sessions will run during the 2 week training period between Camp 1 and Camp 2. There will be 10 sessions running over the 2 week period, session spacing is based on effective recovery time. This set of coach supervised sessions will ensure proper technique, effective training, and maintain high levels of motivation within the team.​

Camp 2 Phase 2: Hypertrophy 2, Anaerobic threshold (long), Stability, Mobility​

Camp 3 Phase 3: Strength, Anaerobic threshold (medium), Stability, Mobility ​

Registration deadline: July 1st, 2018​

Late registration will be subject to $50 fee.​
