Looking for an adventure-filled summer for your kids? Our bike camps are the perfect opportunity for children aged 9 to 14 to improve their biking skills, make new friends, and have a blast!

We are running 4-day weekly bike camps during the months of July and August.  Each week week focuses on different riding levels, ensuring continuous improvement and fun.  Sessions include bike checks, warm-ups, skill development, snacks, hydration, video analysis, cool downs, and stretching.

 

BEGINNER & NOVICE

Riders are individuals with Limited off-road biking experience, typically comfortable on gravel paths and interestd in exploring beginnner-level Mountain bike Trails

REQUISITES - EQUIPMENT - SKILLS 

Minimum Riding Skilss

  • Athletes must be proficient in riding a bicycle
  • Athletes must be comfortable riding bikes for extended periods of time on mountain bike trails
  • Athletes must be able to follow instructions and work as a team with other riders
  • Athletes must adhere to WMSC Teamship Values and Code of Conduct

Riding Levels

  • Beginner Green trails, just proficient riding a bike.
  • Novice Green Trails and Blue trails
  • Intermediate Blue trails and easy black trails 
  • Strong Intermediate Blue trails and some black trails 
  • Advanced Black trails 

EQUIPMENT - TRAIL RIDE

  • Mountain bike in good condition, ready to ride.
  • Well-fitted, MTB helmet, gloves, knee and elbow pads are mandatory.
  • Athletes must carry their own backpack or hip pack with their own water, lunch, and snacks.
  • One bike tube in case of a puncture. (This can be carried on the bike frame or in the backpack).
  • We recommend always having a lightweight rain jacket in case it's needed.
  • We recommend wearing bike shoes.
  • All equipment will be inspected by coaches to ensure safety and risk management.
