2025 Fall Ski Camps

There's nothing quite as long as the stretch from August to November when you're eagerly awaiting the beginning of the next ski season. And we have something to help shake off the lack-of-snow blues!

Whistler Mountain Ski Club is pleased to announce the programming dates and plan for our Fall Ski Camps! This year, we wanted to offer something a bit more unique and will be planning a series of speed and skills camps across Western Canada and elsewhere in the world, including places like Chile and Switzerland that get enough snow to continue skiing until the summer! These camps will provide the environment where our athletes can work on specific components such as gliding, jumping, long turns, starts, terrain and aerodynamics to further their skills on the snow.

Guest Racers are also welcome to participate at the discretion of the Lead Coaches. Please see the camp details below to contact the respective Lead Coach. 

Chile Fall Ski Camp

August 15-31 @ El Colorado, CL | FIS

The first of our Fall Ski Camps kicks off with a trip to South America, specifically Chile. Located just under 2 hours away from the vibrant city of Santiago, the El Colorado ski resort will host our FIS athletes for around 2 weeks to allow them the opportunity to continue training and developing their skills even if there is no snow in Whistler yet! Not only is this a great opportunity to get the older athletes some more training, but is also a great social experience for them, and there will be other events and activities planned for their enjoyment while in Chile.

This event will be an away event at El Colorado, and is open to athletes from a FIS Program only. Guest racers from other clubs are welcome to participate at the discretion of the FIS Lead Coach, Brad Eades. He may be reached at brad@wmsc.info to discuss.

Saas-Fee Fall Ski Camp

August 18-September 2 @ Saas-Fee, CH | U14 and U16

Saas-Fee is one of our most popular and challenging camps on our entire calendar. This camp will see our U14 and U16 Teams travel to beautiful Switzerland to train at Saas-Fee mountain resort. Located in the German-speaking Swiss Alps, this location sees large amounts of snowfall, even in the summer months! Our Camp will offer training sessions including a mix of free skiing, drill courses and full training courses over the the three weeks of the camp on some of the steepest, most technical terrain in all of Europe, challenging our FIS hopefuls to better their skills in a variety of conditions. 

This event will be an away event at Saas-Fee, and is open to athletes from a U14 and U16 Program only. Guest racers from other clubs are welcome to participate at the discretion of the Lead Coaches.
