Dave was born in Ontario and grew up ski racing in the Kawartha and Collingwood areas before moving to BC for his undergraduate degree in Economics at Simon Fraser.  He now splits his time between Vancouver and Whistler with his wife Amber, a WMSC alumni, and his two boys Brodie (U14) and Cole (U12).  Dave is a Senior Executive at Canfor having spent his career running various aspects of large industrial companies including Canfor, CN Rail and Methanex – though he began his career building and running all the websites and ecommerce systems for Intrawest.  He received his CPA designation in 2011 and has served on the boards of the CIO Association of Canada and Railinc in the past.  Dave is super excited to be working with the Board and Club to support its values and achieve its objectives.
