Matthew was born in Canada, and after spending his teenage and university years in England, returned to Vancouver in the mid 1990’s and promptly moved to Whistler where he worked in Blackcomb’s race department.  He now splits his time between Vancouver and Whistler with his wife and family - all avid skiers with all three of his children in WMSC from U12.  Matthew’s career in the investment banking and mining industries has spanned 25 years as principal and advisor, as well as serving on the boards of publicly traded companies.  Matthew is looking forward to contributing to the growth of the Club as a board member and promoting its core values and mission to create champions in life and in sport.
