Scott is very excited to be joining the WMSC Board of Directors this Year.  Scott, a WMSC alumni, spent much of his early ski racing years racing and travelling with WMSC all over Canada and the United States.  Scott's family were early contributors to the club, with his mother being a great volunteer, spending many long hours in the race office, working various club sponsored races, most World Cup events and was also a large contributor to bringing the Whistler Cup to Whistler.  Scott eventually left the club and skiing, graduating form UBC and going on to obtaining his Chartered Accountants designation.  Scott started his own Vancouver based accounting firm, the Renaissance Group CPA Ltd. and has 2nd firm, the Avery Cooper Group of Companies, located in Yellowknife, NWT.  Scott's work as a tax / business advisor has provided him the opportunity to advise several Not for Profit Organizations and currently he is an executive board member of the BC Roadbuilders Association. Scott's wife, Susan, an avid skier, dragged Scott back onto the ski hill and they have been a skiing family ever since.  Scott and Susan's daughter, Carys, is currently in the U16 Program and their son Carter is currently a member of the Whistler Freeride team.  Scott is excited to be back involved with the club he called home so many years ago and looks forward to working with the club to help continue the great tradition that is the WMSC
