Born in Madrid, Spain. David has worked as a ski coach for the last 26 years with athletes of all ages and from many different countries. He has been living and working in Switzerland for the past 17 years, where he started and developed an organization called Ski Zenit that caters year-round ski training for athletes from all over the World. The last 3 years he has been the Head Coach at the U18 Team at Ski Valais (provincial team equivalent to BC Team) in Switzerland.

David has moved to Canada with his family and is feeling highly motivated with his new role at the WMSC U16 team.

As a coach he believes in letting young athletes have their own space for learning while providing them with the best possible atmosphere, training set-up and tools for it.

When he is not training with his athletes you might see him powder skiing, ski touring, hiking climbing or flying a paraglide.
